I arrived exactly at lunch time. Thank God that the parking lot is right there, I don’t like having to walk after looking for 20 minutes where to park. I arrive and ask for a table for myself. The friendly waitresses immediately accommodated me. Without saying that I am going to an interview with the owner of the place, I observe them: They move quickly and do their thing to move tables, chairs and people. so that all the concurrence is safe and comfortable. The restaurant is like a family pub. The hostess knows all the guests, she unfolds with familiarity, as if she had invited them to a meeting at her house. She herself is attending the tables, she makes comments and people laugh. She gives everyone individual attention.
I ask them what they have to drink. They offer me craft beer, I get carried away by the recommendation and order the Pale Ale created by the restaurant: “Hechicera”. I order a pizza to confirm what my friends tell me about them is true. And in order not to feel so bad about the calories, I ordered an arugula and fig salad with caramelized walnuts and blue cheese. Now yes, to eat without remorse.
