On May 24, the nineteenth edition of the ANSYS* Convergence 2022 Congress was held at the SSC Group facilities. This congress brought together specialists and users of the ANSYS program, a simulation software, and the main players in the design of innovative products that share the use of simulation throughout the life cycle of their products.
The digitalization of companies requires technologies such as simulation to optimize the time it takes to market new products, greatly reducing development costs and improving their performance. It is especially used by sectors such as the automotive industry, aerospace, metalworking, energy, academic institutions, and research centers.
Between meetings, workshops, and the exhibition pavilion, the attendees—mostly engineers— were able to share details about the use and design of ANSYS.
Some of the speakers were Giovanni Angelucci from Horizontec; Ing. Luis Diego Maroto Segura from Austri Point Aerospace; Dr. Sergio Alonso Romero from CIATEC; Victor Hugo Miranda Razo from Mabe S.A. de C.V.; Bernardo Maldonado González from Schneider Electric; Dr. Salvador Landeros Ayala from the Mexican Space Agency; Ing. Manuel Retana, from NASA, among many others.
The event was attended by more than 250 people, including representatives of 50 companies, 28 public and private universities, and five representatives of five research centers.
