Have you been to Mercado de Productores TOSMA lately? If it has been a while or you have yet to visit, it is time to go check it out. TOSMA is the premier organic market in San Miguel and is adjacent to Mercado Sana on Ancha near Hotel Real de Minas. Prior to COVID-19, the S.P.A. had a monthly presence on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00am to 3:00pm. We are thrilled to report that we have resumed that schedule.
The best part is that 100% of the proceeds from our homemade crafts and S.P.A. t-shirts and caps go directly to the S.P.A. to support our cats and dogs. All materials and labor to create the beautiful and unique crafts are donated. We are happy to accept monetary donations at our table as well.
These proceeds will help support Kahlua and her sister, Sheridan, who came to the S.P.A. in September 2020 following the passing of their owner due to COVID-19. They are now about four years old and really need to find another loving home where they can live out their lives together. They have funny, different personalities and are inseparable. Then, we have Jacinta, a sleek, petite gorgeous all black regal beauty. She was rescued from a deplorable situation and is now about 2 years old. She has a strong-willed, loving personality and would do best as a single cat.
These proceeds will also help support Miny and Tessie. Miny has been at the S.P.A. since 2014 when she was 5 weeks old. A large, strong, beautiful dog, she is very sweet and friendly and loves getting attention. Having been at the S.P.A. since 2014, Tessie, now about 9 years old, is smart, friendly (to those she knows), and likes to splash around in a tub of water. Medium-sized, she would do best in a home where she is the only dog.
When you visit our table at the market, you will want to check out our many fanciful fabrics themed by categories: dogs, cats, day-of-the-dead, Mexican, chili peppers and other. You can choose from oven mitts, aprons, hot pads, tortilla warmers, zippered pouches, bags of all sizes, and a multitude of other items. Our products are perfect for visitors and locals alike.
