This holiday season, visitors will converge on San Miguel and the city becomes alive with activity. So today I have prepared some hotel recommendations that will be very useful for you. Whether your priority is a central location, rooms with specific amenities, or being pet friendly because you are traveling with your four-legged friend, you will certainly find what you are looking for!
The Hotel Casa Rosada is your best option if you want to walk through the streets of the historical center. The hotel is located just a few steps from the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel on Calle de Cuna de Allende 12. It has rooms and suites with colonial decorations, and amenities to make your stay an unforgettable experience. A curious fact is that the building was owned for many years by Matilda, the daughter of Diego Rivera. In fact, the main room still preserves part of the young woman’s furniture, since it was her room.
Casa de los Soles is one of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels you can find if your plan is to relax and be completely at peace. Perhaps you have seen photographs of it. Its name comes from the colorful, and astounding handmade suns, that decorate the walls of the hotel. It must be one of the most photographed buildings in the city. By choosing to stay at Casa de los Soles, you will be able to enjoy a quiet atmosphere and rooms equipped for rest and additional services such as a restaurant and parking. It is located at Calle de Loreto 19.
The Hotel Casa Blanca is located on Calle de Juárez 7, and is one of my favorite options when it comes to enjoying the views. The restaurant terrace is located within the historical center and is incomparable. And it is quite beautiful! The hotel has single and double rooms, suites, and everything you need to enjoy your stay to the fullest.
