Girl rescued from fire

In the early morning hours of December 8, a house caught fire on Indalecio Allende Street, San Rafael neighborhood in San Miguel de Allende. The flames reached the house after a tree was ignited due to the burning of fireworks. One girl was seriously burned and was hospitalized after a neighbor in the area, Karla Katlina Schueler, jumped from roof to roof to rescue her.

The Direction of Civil Protection and Fire Prevention urgently appeals to the population to keep the grounds clean and to exercise extreme caution in this dry season and vigilance during the Christmas celebrations.
