March 8

International Women’s Day was launched by the United Nations (UN) in 1975, but the struggle for women’s equality has been going for more than 100 years. First, women claimed basic rights: voting in elections, holding responsible positions in politics and in society in general, the right to work and study. Now, International Women’s Day is used to claim these basic rights in less developed countries, and more advanced rights in developed countries, all to achieve effective equality with men. For this reason, his friends and family have organized a fundraising event at Café MuRo, in San Gabriel 1, in the Obraje neighborhood. While savoring delicious snacks and drinks, you can purchase a piece of art that local artists have selflessly donated to the cause. The cost of the ticket is 250 pesos and all the money will be donated entirely to Gerardo. The event will be on March 10, from 5 to 8pm. Get your tickets at Café MuRo.
