Sergio «Checo» Perez is Champion of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

Mexican driver Sergio «Checo» Perez dominated the Jeddah circuit and won his first victory of the season. The Mexican driver raced brilliantly in Arabian lands, and with his victory, he got the second place in the drivers’ world championship, only behind his teammate, the Dutch Max Verstappen.

Perez obtained the «Pole Position» for Red Bull to start the race from the front, while his teammate Max Verstappen started from 15th place, due to a penalty from the FIA.

It was a great day for the Mexican driver and for Red Bull Racing, winning at the Jeddah circuit and dominating the F1 season for the time being.

You are great, Checo!

Carlos Alcaraz is Indian Wells Champion

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz became the new champion of Indian Wells, the first Masters 1000 of the year. It was against the Russian Danil Medvedev, in a match of many emotions and with the best level of tennis on the planet. In 70 minutes of match, «Carlitos» defeated Medvedev in two straight sets, with a score of 6-3 and 6-2.

Alcaraz’s victory on U.S. soil meant the number one position in the ATP ranking for «Carlitos,» who takes the throne from Novak Djokovic as the best tennis player on the planet.

With this championship, Alcaraz accumulates a total of eight titles as a professional tennis player (one Grand Slam, three Masters 1000, two ATP 500, and two ATP 250). Undoubtedly, the young Spanish tennis player is on his way to enter the history books as one of the great tennis players if he continues his winning pace.

In order to maintain the number one ranking, Alcaraz will have to win in Miami and thus consolidate definitively in the number one position. If he does not win in Miami, Novak Djokovic will return to the number one position.

Olé Carlitos!
