The Ideaz Fair, part of the Inventive Network program of the PACE MD Civil Association, returns for the fifth time. This year it will be held on Saturday, April 29, at Espacio San Miguel, Salida a Celaya 34. The event brings together emerging leaders to share knowledge and explore how technology can serve collective well-being. This year, the focus is on MedTech, which consists of applications of innovative technologies in the field of health. The purpose is to explore the latest developments and advances in the field, promote entrepreneurship, and support projects that promote economic and social development to benefit local communities.
The Ideaz Fair 2023 will include four different sessions:
9-10:15am: Dialogues for transformation. A discussion moderated by Dr. Angel Braña (PACE MD) on creating equity in health. Other participating experts will be Dr. Cedrick McMillian (The MacMillan Dental Clinic), Dr. María De Lourdes Tejeida (Latin American Association of Palliative Care), Lic. Sofía Toledo (Sofy Cares), and Dr. Abel Maldonado (Neumocritic).
10:30-11:20am: Ideaz in Action. Three one-hour sessions to address the challenges of medicine and digital transformations, presented by Dr. Arturo Zamarripa, with a talk on medical tourism; Dr. Abraham Ochoa, who will compare traditional and modern medicine, and will discuss the educational changes needed to address their divergences; and Eng. Víctor Saavedra, whose topic is on smart cities and the internet of things.
2:30-4:30pm: Techno Labs. Four half-hour workshops to stimulate innovative thinking and discover how technologies impact medicine. Electronic medical records, with Dr. David Buchanan; dental technology, with Dr. Alma Godínez; Sports medicine devices, with Lic. Salvador de Martos; and technology for children, with Lic. Marcy Marrero.
4:30-6pm: Outside the Box. Dr. Haywood Hall, director and founder of PACE
MD, together with Dr. Alfredo Álvarez and Dr. Abel Maldonado, will demonstrate the digital transformation of their company and the use of pocket ultrasound.
The fair is free and open to the public and is expected to attract a large number of people interested in MedTech and healthcare technology. Come closer to the technologies of your future!
