All community members will be welcome to free participation in the Second Artistic and Literary Meeting, organized by Red Global Creativa (Creative Global Network). The group reaffirms its commitment to developing opportunities for the talent of visual artists, musicians, poets, and writers and projecting it to the world. This second event will take place in San Miguel de Allende. Aware of the importance and value to society of creating meeting points between artists from different disciplines and writers from all over the world and maximizing the visibility of their legacies, our city has been chosen for this magnificent international exhibition of art and literature.
The Second Artistic and Literary Meeting takes place from June 9 to 11 at Distrito Soma, in the Ferrocarril área, the perfect location for an event that unites the arts with the letters. Distrito Soma is home to renowned galleries and spaces dedicated to culture, among which are the two allies who will make a great event possible, Galleria Amarillo78 and Loreto Librería. Entrance will be free, opening with the art and emotions workshop, “A Starry Night in San Miguel” from 5 to 9pm. This special preview will end with an evening of music and opera.
On June 10, the opening event, from 10am to 9pm, will be the presentation of 72 international visual artists, writers’ panels, and musicians of the international trajectory (violin, piano, and guitar). The awards ceremony will honor the best artists from the presentation.
During the last day of the event, June 11, a conference, «Intellectual Property As a Driver of Art» will be from 11am to 12:30pm.
