January 4, 2023: Symphonic Dances and Preludes/New Year Concert
We present you with some of our most popular repertoires to celebrate the new year.
An orchestral prelude serves as an overture, sets up an atmosphere of colorful, pleasant harmonies, and right after that, three up-tempo symphonic dances will make you dance in your seat!
The concert will end with a short symphony in three movements. Exotic, colorful, and very dynamic at times, this symphony has had great success with audiences.
February 15: “Symphony of Nature”
For our “Lovers’ Concerto 2023,” the “Symphony of Nature” seems perfect. It is sweet and melodic, filled with birds’ calls and butterflies’ flights. There is precious water in the form of snow, springs and rivers, cascades and lakes, and the majestic blue ocean. Will we travel to the woods and unravel its secret, or is it their secret? And to end this fantastic symphony, we will witness an orchestral drizzle turn into a storm in its final movement.

II. From the Snow Peaks to the Blue Ocean
III. Cordilleras
IV. The Monarch´s Forest
V. Rain
April 1: Choral Symphony: “The Monastery”
The last concert of our season falls just before Semana Santa in Mexico. The composer actually wrote the symphony in an abandoned monastery. It has images of Gregorian chants, Tibetan horns, and doves and peacocks that inhabit the massive walls of the temples. It has to do with Tibet as much as Japan, Italy, or Spain, and the monasteries and sanctuaries near San Miguel and monasteries all over the four corners of the world.
The concerts will take place at 6pm at the Teatro Ángela Peralta, 450/350 pesos
