Love is in the air this month and it’s no different at the SPA. Lulu and Reggie are devoted to each other. They are the best of buds, so much so that they happily share a casita. Both are about 1-1/2 years old, sweet, affectionate, and love to cuddle with each other and people. Lulu is a Schnauzer mix, small and adorable. She and Reggie, a Chihuahua mix, are constantly at play in their shared casita home. They like to go on walks together. It builds their confidence on the street. Lulu prances along the sidewalk and Reggie conducts exploratory sniffs of the surroundings. As you can see in their video (https://youtu.be/VxC4Er1P4ro), they have a great time together.
Mother/daughter love is highlighted by Salem and Sara. Salem came to the SPA as a new mother with her three babies, one of whom was Sara (the others have been adopted). This beautiful tan-colored girl was a great mom even though she was only ten months old herself at the time. She wins the civic duty award having accepted, nurtured, and saved the life of another kitten. About
1-1/2 years old, she has a perfect demeanor, sweet and loving.
Sara is Salem’s mini-me daughter with identical markings and tan coloring with brilliant gold eyes. She is such a lovely, adventuresome cat, not quite one year old. She is curious, playful, and loving and enjoys playing with her roommates.
Adopt any of these Pets of the Month during February and receive a free adoption kit.
