Take a journey with us and experience an afternoon meant to inspire. As you enter, you’ll find yourself in Johnny’s Piano Bar, an iconic space where music reigns supreme. A few steps in, you’ll find Dos Aves tasting room, with exclusive styles of beer (and rootbeer!) on tap for just 90 pesos a pint. Follow the roller-skating waitress into The Atrium, where you’ll pass by our Mezcaleria and cafe before arriving at the main event.
The Atrium is a glorious glass-topped, three-story performance space, and it’s completely free for new and up-and-coming artists to perform. We’re all about connecting you with the talent and supporting their work, which is why we offer «pay what you can» pricing, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the artists. It’s a win-win for everyone. From jazz to opera, circus to rock, The Velvet Cabaret is an inclusive and welcoming space for everyone.
Up one deck (think cruise ship), you’ll find our game hall, complete with darts, poker, classic arcade games, foosball, chess, and more… Basically, if it’s fun, it’s here! Our airline-style trolley brings you everything you need at your fingertips, so grab your drinks and food and play the day away.
Next up is The Vinland Society, our members-only fine wine and mezcal club. The society has its own wine cellar (with lockers for members and no corkage fee on any bottles you store with us), a lovely private terrace with members only BBQ area, a full bar with leather NYC club seating and even a private pool hall. Our fully serviced club bar offers all drinks for only 100 pesos for members plus one free drink a day, every day you visit.
Our roof terrace is stunning, with gorgeous views, sunset prosecco, and easy elevator access. It’s a community space where we host dance lessons, yoga classes, workshops, and more. We’re here to support our community in any way we can, including partnering with NGOs and hosting fundraising events. Our teachers & practitioners use the space for free, you pay only to support them.
We’re also passionate about supporting students, which is why we’ve launched an initiative to audition music students for our residency program. The program includes free lodgings, making it easier for students to pursue their passions without breaking the bank while giving them the chance to practice and perform in our Atrium.
And if you’re hungry – don’t worry! Our unique kitchen is coming soon to meet your taste bud needs.
The Velvet Cabaret is a game-changer, open Wednesdays through Sunday, from 2pm to 10pm, with entertainment all day.
