Just recently Concept Store has opened its doors at Cuadrante 34. The story of how it got its name is related to the beautiful concept behind it. Creating Dreams is the name of a foundation that provides support to older women who have gone through difficult situations such as being widowed. What they can create with their hands and a pair of needles or a crochet hook, not only provides motivation and a way to generate income, but also a community for these magnificent women.
In the store, you can find handmade home accessories such as hand-woven seat cushions and figures made of ceramic, clay, or blown glass; and many other items to decorate your home. You can also find many beauty adornments from handmade necklaces and women’s clothing to soaps and natural essences for skin care. There is also a selection of sewing supplies such as needles and hooks of various sizes, and a beautiful array of yarns and threads. Coffee and pastry are offered daily. On the store’s top floor, knitting and sewing workshops will be offered to spread the magic of creating art through the community. Pay attention if you like to knit, crochet, or sew, would like to learn how, or are simply looking for some special trinkets for home or personal.
