Coming from the world of film and advertising as an Art Director, Gabriela P. Garavito today is an Interior Designer. Her past experience has given her the ability not simply to decorate, but her creative mind and refined vision pulls the best out of a space to create an atmosphere.
How do you define the atmosphere?
«For me, the setting is the sensory amplification of each space, the personality of the clients and their art of living, to achieve a very specific and unique atmosphere for each project. Your house has to tell the story of who you are and be a collection of the things you really love.»
A big fan of iconic designs, her decors feature bold materials and textures, tempered with subtle color palettes, muted tones and impeccable lighting. At the crossroads between classical terminology and contemporary aesthetics, Gabriela’s interiors are serene, elegant and dramatic, full of nods to other time periods, but never ordinary.
