Workers will pay less ISR on their payroll in 2023
By Elenne Castro
As a result of inflation last year, the Income Tax (ISR) discount will be lower in 2023. When an increase exceeds 10%, the Tax Administration Service (SAT) adjusts the table used to calculate this tax rate. Accumulated inflation was 15.31% from the end of 2021 to November 2022. The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit decided to modify the 2023 tax rate. With the publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) about this modification, people will receive extra salary since they will have less withholding for ISR.
