This month, the first Proptech Acceleration Laboratory in Latin America was inaugurated in Mexico. The Proptech Latam Disruption Lab project is the result of a merger between Proptech Latam and PireLabs. It is directed by Rubén Frattini, an expert in technological real estate and management of real estate projects based on the use of proptech, while Julián Bergara is part of the Innovation Laboratory of the Argentine Chamber of Construction.

With the goal of digital transformation, the project was launched at C3ntro Telecom’s headquarters. This Mexican telecommunications firm has focused on improving the technological infrastructure of companies, and contributing to digital innovation through voice, data, and video solutions managed from the Cloud.

Proptech Latam Disruption Lab seeks to identify, assist, and obtain investments to accelerate startups in the Latin American real estate sector. It is looking for individuals with high potential and a passion for their work. It will focus on providing the tools and capability to build scalable businesses that will bring innovation to real estate and construction.

C3ntro Telecom’s Carlos Cojab is vice president of Business Development & Smart Media. He stated that the objective of the laboratory is to introduce technology in the real estate industry through different mediums, such as telecommunications, promotion of property, short-term rentals, and vacation rental properties.

C3ntro Telecom is a leading company in the technology sector. It is innovative, avant-garde, and has access to leading technologies. Much of what it does, aside from creating technology, is showing clients how to implement the technology. It has partnered with some of the most important technology companies worldwide.

With the Proptech Latam Disruption Lab, C3ntro Telecom will be able to support companies with infrastructure and technology. C3ntro Telecom also helps midsize and large companies with their technology needs.

According to data from “Endeavor,” in 2021 alone, venture capital investment in the Proptech segment in Latin America was US$1.308 billion dollars in 23 separate agreements, a fivefold growth over 2020’s US$261 million.

In 2022, C3ntro Telecom plans to deploy fiber optics to continue upgrading connectivity, 5G, and the Internet. It is also implementing hybrid work. Finally, it aims to implement connectivity in an optimal fashion. One of the company’s important achievements is providing clients with direct connectivity to leading public Cloud providers, such as Google, Web Services, Oracle, and Microsoft.
