Alejandra «Wera» Reynoso Presented Her Fourth Report on Legislative Activities in San Miguel de Allende

The National Action senator; «Wera Reynoso», was in the heritage city accompanied by local panistas to report on the outstanding activities she has carried out in the Senate of the Republic that have benefited the State of Guanajuato.

Alejandra Reynoso spoke about the law initiative for the National Commission for Attention to the Migratory Phenomenon, which guarantees dignified treatment for migrants and respect for their rights. At this point, she highlighted the importance for the braceros of returning to their families and to their country, since for them family and their roots will always be the most important thing.

He explained the proposal of the Telework Law that today is a reality, with the purpose of reducing travel time to dedicate it to family and dialogue, he emphasized that this is achieved with the compatibility of schedules and guarantees the labor rights of employees who work remotely or in a place different from the location of the company, supported by information technologies.

Regarding the Financial Education initiative, he informed that this subject is intended to be taught from basic education, not to become rich, he pointed out, but to know how to manage every peso and to be able to form a new generation of children and young people who know how to make decisions with every peso they receive. Financial education will help us to foresee situations of illness or simply for old age, so that we can live with dignity.

He emphasized that during his administration he has also achieved the recognition of resident doctors in the Health Law, and that resources have been increased, as well as the offer of national positions for their specialization. Likewise, two forums for Resident Doctors were held, one in the Senate and the other in the General Hospital of Guanajuato.

The senator emphasized the issue of cancer, as it is a disease she herself has suffered from and is fighting. In this sense, she highlighted the importance of the families and relatives who accompany cancer patients in their treatments in other cities, where they have no contacts. This initiative deals with these companions who are going through complicated situations with the pain of seeing a loved one suffer.

In this sense, it has also promoted initiatives to contemplate remote medical services aided by new technologies by contemplating three concepts in the Law: Telehealth, Telemedicine and Teleconsultation.

During the pandemic, she donated one month of her salary to buy basic protective equipment for the purchase of KN95 masks, special suits, masks and essential supplies for resident doctors in public hospitals in Guanajuato.

Likewise, «Wera» Reynoso donated to the San Francisco del Rincón Hospital, the San Luis de la Paz IMSS, the Pemex Hospital in Salamanca and the San Miguel de Allende General Hospital a sanitizing booth for epidemiological laboratories, indoor sterilizers with air purifiers for operating rooms and television screens for the dissemination of prevention information in waiting rooms.
