The new Clinical Analysis Laboratory of the Red Cross of San Miguel de Allende has become reality through the efforts of the current administration, chaired by Leticia Fernández de Noyola. The laboratory, on Manuel Zavala Bypass 117, will be under the supervision of chemist Claudia Muñoz Velázquez.

The list of tests offered is extensive. Among them are total serum cholesterol, urine glucose, blood group, and hepatitis B virus. There will even be toxicology tests. The charges range from $45 to $230 pesos.

At the inauguration, the president of the Red Cross highlighted the construction of another laboratory branch on Avenida Las Américas. Samples will be taken here, and the Relief department will provide direct attention to citizens in case of accidents. She also reported that this new professional laboratory offers a timely service of the highest quality. It has been 42 years since the Mexican Red Cross started work in San Miguel de Allende, fulfilling international standards.

The new laboratories will open from 7 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon, Monday to Saturday. Samples will be taken and delivered to the main laboratory, while the subsidiary lab will only take samples.
