The Mexican national team failed in the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Mexico was eliminated from the World Cup in the group stage.
With a scoreless draw against Poland with Guillermo Ochoa as the hero saving a penalty from Robert Lewandowski, the «tri» scored one point and had to play the game of their life against the favorite team, Argentina, which had just lost to Saudi Arabia 2-1.

VAR, Uruguay’s enemy in Qatar 2022
Uruguay failed in the World Cup and, like teams such as Germany and Mexico, was eliminated in the group stage.
