Manchester City is European champion for the first time in its history
Manchester City finally won its long-awaited UEFA Champions League against Inter Milan at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
The team coached by Pep Guardiola won its first Champions League in their history, beating Inter Milan by the minimum difference, in a very close match with few dangerous chances for both teams. However, a goal by Rodri in the 67th minute and an incredible performance by Ederson under the goalkeeper, ended up giving the English team the «orejona.»
Pep Guardiola continues to make history, consolidating his position as one of the best managers in the world. With this result, Manchester City achieved the famous «treble» (Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League), and Guardiola became the first manager to achieve a «treble» with two different teams (Barcelona and Manchester City).
After more than US$1,323,000 of investment since Guardiola’s arrival in 2016, Manchester City could be champions of Europe and also get their first ticket to the Club World Cup.
Incredible season and impressive project for Manchester City!

Lionel Messi to play in MLS next season
While everyone was waiting for the return of Lionel Messi to FC Barcelona, it came as a surprise that the Argentine footballer would sign for an MLS (Major League Soccer) club, Inter Miami.
Messi, one of the best footballers in history, arrives at a virtually unknown team, Inter Miami, a club founded in 2018 by an investment group, led by the legendary footballer David Beckham, which would debut in MLS in 2020, competing in the Eastern Conference.
The DRV PNK Stadium will be Lionel Messi’s new home, a stadium with a capacity of just 18,000 spectators.
According to different media reports, Messi will sign for three years, plus one additional year. And according to rumors, the contract includes certain benefits, such as a series with Apple, a percentage of television rights, and he could even become a shareholder of the club once he retires.
La Pulga’s contract at PSG expires on June 30, so on July 1 Messi’s move to Inter Miami would become official (it’s practically only a matter of days).
«I was very excited to be able to return (to Barcelona), but after the departure I had, I didn’t want to go back to the same situation. I have already been accused of many things that were not true in my career at Barcelona. I made the decision that I will go to Miami. I haven’t closed it 100% yet, but we decided to continue on our way.» Lionel Messi told Mundo Deportivo.
What do you think of Messi’s decision?
Rodrigo Pacheco makes history at Roland Garros
The 18-year-old Mexican tennis player, who is ranked number one in the world in the ITF Ranking, was crowned champion at Roland Garros in the junior doubles category.
Pacheco paired up with young Russian Yaroslav Demin, who belongs to the Rafa Nadal Academy.
In a 59-minute match, without many complications, the Pacheco-Demin pair defeated the Italian pair Lorenzo Sciahbasi and Gabriele Vulpitta by a score of 6-2 and 6-3.
The Yucatecan is going through an extraordinary moment in his career, as he recently won the Bonfiglio Trophy in Milan, which catapulted him to the top of the ITF Ranking and made his mark after being crowned in a Grand Slam, such as Roland Garros.
Rodrigo Pacheco shows the world the power of Mexicans and also demonstrates to the Mexican Tennis Federation that its lousy administration is not an obstacle to success.
