Morena’s candidate for the government of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez, leads the electorate’s preference with an average of 57.8% of votes according to the most recent polls. The candidate supported by the outgoing governor, Alejandra del Moral, manages to get as close as five or six points in the most favorable polls but no further. Her average puts her close to 42%.
