Claudia Pérez Pavón is an artist who works with plastic. She has lived in San Miguel de Allende for several years, and her work is currently being showcased at an individual exhibition at the Museo de la Ciudad in Querétaro. The exhibition will continue until the end of February 2023. Her contemporary artwork has been recognized nationally.

The exhibition is called “The Invisible to the Visible: The Dream.” It is composed of a series of 11 pieces. Together, they form a narrative of the creative landscape which the artist proposes to the observer. Pérez Pavón’s images offer a sensitive space, a communion of nature, and color in a perfect state. The Mexican writer Germán Dehesa calls the work of Pérez Pavón, “exciting apparitions, where everything flows, bringing epiphanies.”

Pérez Pavón has been accredited by the national system of creators CONACULTA. She was also the unanimous winner of the juried art exhibition, “X Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial.”  She has participated in more than 50 collective and individual exhibitions in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. The exhibition of her work is now at the Museum of the City in the city of Querétaro. It is located at Vicente Guerrero Norte, 27, in Santiago de Querétaro. The exhibit is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12 to 8pm.
