The final of the Esquites and Tacos Championship, organized by TENÉ restaurant at Hotel Casa 1810, has occurred. This championship brought together 16 San Miguel de Allende chefs, each making original and fun proposals of esquites (Mexican street corn served off the cob and in a cup) and tacos. 

After several nights of elimination, the awaited final arrived on Sunday, December 11. First place went to Chef Abel Hernández of Selina restaurant, second place to Chef Arturo Sandoval of La Mar restaurant,t and third place to Chef Jordi Casas of Asador Catalán restaurant. 

All the participating chefs attended the grand finale, sharing in a great event that allowed them to strengthen the gastronomic guild of San Miguel. “I am very grateful for this invitation. What a good opportunity to get to know each other better and support each other,” commented Chef Marcela Bolaño from Marsala restaurant, who made it to the semifinals.
