Teri has dual citizenship, Mexico and the USA, and is fluent in both languages. She has lived in San Miguel for 20 years. She is an ambassador for CRISMA, a member of Rotary Midday Club San Miguel, and has also collaborated with Feed the Hungry, Red Cross, and Casa Hogar Mexiquito.

Poor treatment of people and animals.
